It’s almost here…

KTWH, your community radio station giving Two Harbors a voice, has been on the air for over three years, providing opportunities for the Two Harbors area and beyond.

If you find that effort worthwhile, please take some time to support KTWH and other local non-profits during the 10th annual Give to the Max Day in Minnesota. You can donate anytime through the end of Thursday, November 15th at:

GiveMN-KTWH

KTWH (99.5 FM, ktwh.org) shares local voices and provides valuable opportunities:

Ways to listen and learn

local news, coverage of community and school events and community announcements, emergency management, local creative arts such as music, storytelling, and music from a wide variety of styles and sources

Participate

in all aspects of community radio such as desk work, operating a sound board, community reporting, website upkeep, computer assistance,

Engage with your community

share and be heard in an atmosphere of respectful inquiry into our shared social issues

meet others and participate in an intergenerational community effort

     engage in grassroots community efforts

With a strong base of volunteer and financial support, we can continue growing our programming with offerings like our new Literally from the North Shore literary showcase, as well as great live music on The Beat Farm, our wide array of locally produced shows, our remote special events broadcasts programming, and more.

Recently, Will Peterson of KTWH was on hand in Brainerd to call the game as the Agates played in the state football tournament for the first time in 41 years.  KTWH streamed the big game to roughly 175 listeners and hundreds more on FM who tuned in locally that afternoon.

You can donate now to THCR via Give to the Max at   GiveMN-KTWH

The process is easy and your gifts may be multiplied as the station becomes eligible for drawings for special prize awards throughout the day on November 15th.

Thanks again for your support and we’ll see you on the radio as we broadcast a number of special features throughout Give to the Max Day on Thursday, November 15th.
