KTWH Spring Membership Drives: Giving Opportunities from April into May 2024

i Apr 24th No Comments by

This is a busy and beautiful time of year when mud season ends and we turn our attention to summer adventure. KTWH is asking for just a little of your time and money to keep making good things happen at 99. 5FM and online at ktwh.org.

The KTWH Early Bird Membership Drive welcomes online giving- this drive runs from April 27th (or before) through May 5th. The on-air Spring Membership FUNd Drive kicks off Monday May 6th. Our on-air drive runs through the end of the broadcast day on Saturday May 11th. By the way, it won’t be too late to give through the month of May if you’d like to help KTWH after the drive technically is over.

Giving your support during the Early Bird Drive will help us meet our Member goal sooner and Early Birds will have the chance to match the $1,000 dollar challenge gift made by an anonymous KTWH supporter.

Stay tuned for updates about several exciting FUNd Drive special programs: We’ll have a bonus Beat Farm show and even highlights from this year’s exciting Cabin Fever Reliever show. If you haven’t discovered it, yet check out our Listeners’ Voices show (Saturday at Noon with a repeat Monday at 9 PM). We’ll be soliciting your thoughts on community radio the week of the Drive. You can look forward to some other dynamic shows premiering in the coming months AND more KTWH Catch the Wave concerts this summer at Two Harbors downtown band shell park. Bringing you grassroots radio year round only happens with listener support. That’s where we hope you come in, whether as a monthly sustainer or annual donor at any level that you can afford.

If you’re ready and able to contribute to KTWH, it’s as simple as going to https://ktwh.org/donations/ to enter the secure KTWH Donation page. You’ll see your giving options and premiums.

KTWH celebrated EIGHT YEARS in September 2023. It’s been amazing to take this journey with the community we serve. Listener support is the biggest single component of our noncommercial radio budget. And thanks to your continued support KTWH is able to produce shows that feature local voices, issues, and stories. We also air a wide range of independently produced shows from across the country to complement the menu of local music programming and public affairs features throughout the week for over 5,000 hours each year.

A gift of any amount to KTWH lets us know that you support community radio for the long haul. That’s our commitment-to be there for the listeners who value this service. Becoming a monthly sustaining member is a great way to help KTWH over the course of the year. That’s easily done by clicking the Donate button on our home page at our website, ktwh.org.

The mission of KTWH as a grassroots nonprofit radio service is to reflect our community and share the many voices of the people who make this place home, or even a home away from home. Your support goes a long way to make sure we can maintain our technical systems and the ambitious programming– we continue to recruit and train folks to produce and reliably deliver a diverse menu of programs at KTWH.

You can make a donation in any amount that works for you right now–go to the donate page at ktwh.org and check out the premium thank you gifts and easy payment options. There are several ways to give:
> DONATE ONLINE with a one-time gift or a sustaining membership
> Call us at 218-595-6195 to pledge support then send us a check
> Mail your donation check to KTWH PO Box 622 Two Harbors MN 55616
> A fun option is to drop off your donation with staff at the station-we’re in
the Harbor Landing Building at 629 Seventh Avenue, Two Harbors.

KTWH thanks you for your continuing support of Radio With a Lake View at 99.5 FM, online at ktwh.org. We’ll see you on the radio through the summer and beyond.
