In 2023, Give to the Max Day is on Thursday, November 16th. Early giving is under way at GiveMN.org. KTWH welcomes everyone in our listening community to visit the GiveMN site online to check out the many participating organizations in our area and across Minnesota that you may want to support. Two Harbors Community Radio (THCR) is one of many good causes you can help out with a generous gift that fits your budget.
Tune in during the week leading up to November 16th to hear about the work of a number of area nonprofits in the Northland. You can catch interviews with representatives of these groups on our morning shows on Radio With a Lake View–at 99.5 FM, or streaming at ktwh.org.
In our ninth year of grassroots radio programming and community engagement, KTWH is just getting started. We’re committed to developing programs to share constructive ideas and cultural celebration in a time full of great challenge and uneasy change. We know you need information to address our most pressing issues as well as news about cool events that keep our North Shore vibrant and appealing to residents and visitors alike.

Give to the Max Day was created in 2009 to launch GiveMN, a collaborative venture led by Minnesota Community Foundation and many other organizations committed to helping make our state a better place. That initial spark touched off an outpouring of generosity — $14 million in 24 hours.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2023, Give to the Max Day has become Minnesota’s annual giving holiday, raising $290 million in its first 14 years.
